Description

The Fire Safety Training Course is designed to overcome fire hazards in the workplace and how to act safely in the event of an emergency fire situation, including selecting and using the correct fire extinguisher. The course is also designed to train staff in your fire safety procedures.

Objectives

Trainees who successfully complete this course shall be able to demonstrate the required minimum standard of competence, who may be designated to control fire-fighting operations. The course is designed and extracted from the codes.

Entry Standards

This course is open to those seafarers who have completed a Level 2 Certification in fire prevention and firefighting. Trainees shall be medically fit for physical training.

Career Opportunities

Engineer
